ReplyDeleteTell your papa that I used to sing this song by Petula Clark to James and Amy when they were little. I still try to sing it to them but they tell me to "shut up" because I don't have a fine voice like your mummy. You look very healthy in your photos. Keep on keeping well ( a well known Austrlian saying) and we think of you and the family all the time here in Brisbane. God bless you all,

ReplyDeleteSo many songs. So many memories. Your mum is ever present in the words of so many of my favourite songs.
At mass, when we start singing the Pater Noster from the St Francis Mass, it brings to mind all the Sunday 1030 a.m. masses when our choir would sing this Our Father.
The St Francis Mass has long been one of our favourites. The words of this prayer are truly beautiful and when put to song, truly reaches into our hearts.
I keep thinking of your mummy and am sad she is not here with us. But you have a daddy who is with you and loves you so very much.
I will come by soon to see you again. I was so happy to see you when I last visited you. It was wonderful just to hold you in my arms.
I promise a big cuddle when I see you again.
