Day 13 (Tue, 18 April 2006): The good news is that Papa will be able to bring me home tomorrow. I am so looking forward to that. So is everyone else apparently. Papa says that my cheeks will be red & rosy by the end of the week.

It has been so dark and wet today.

Mummy dearest, I love you and I miss you. I knew more about you in the darkness of the womb: I could feel your loving caress, I could hear your beautiful voice and melodies drift through the walls of your stomach. Then why now though I am surrounded by light, can't I see you?

Hi Evan, it's great you'll be going home with papa soon. You are so lucky because he'll be such a wonderful father. Your mama's family and friends who loved her very much will help papa to care for you too. Grow up big and strong with plenty of love in your heart just like your mama and papa. You look beautiful in your photos. Keep them coming!

Good for you, Evan! Home is a great place to be. Wherever you go, close your eyes and you'll see mummy is there with you. I'm old and I still do that when I want to talk to my daddy...it works!

Speaking of daddies - you've got a great one so try not to give him TOOOOO much trouble when you're home. :)
